Zero-Carbon
Sealing Glass and Paste for SOFC
-
A solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) is
an electrochemical battery that generates electricity at high temperatures after
receiving an oxidizing agent such as air and fuel gases such as H2, CO, and CH4 -
Compared to other fuel cell types,
it is more energy efficient and can utilize hydrocarbon gas directly without external reforming.
There is no problem with electrolyte filling or corrosion since all components are solid. -
Glass frit is used to seal the cells and stacks. Especially in the use of high-temperature solid fuel cells
that require high heat resistance, the system is more stable and economical.
