MLCC - the Rice of Electrical Industry
Glass Frit for MLCC External Electrode Paste
-
It is an electrical energy storage device that
regulates the electricity flow in electronic
products such as semiconductor devices.
It is composed of a dielectric, an internal
electrode, and an external electrode.
The external electrode connects the internal
electrodes at both ends. -
Dielectric and adhesion are provided by glass
frit in external electrode paste.
Glass frit must retain high chemical
resistance since Ni and Sn are electroless
coatings over external electrodes. -
Glass frit is primarily used to adhere to Ceramics and sinter them, as well as prevent paste liquid
penetration by forming a barrier between Ceramics and terminals.
